Overview

Hang Kia Village, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province lies in the middle of rocky mountains, cloudy all year round. This place used to be a death valley, but now Hang Kia has changed and become an ideal tourist destination in Halong - Mai Chau tour.

Coming to this small village, you have the chance to learn more about the inherent craft many in generations of Mong people here. The topography of Hang Kia - Pa Co Nature Reserve has an average elevation of 800-900m above sea level. The highest point is 1,223m, which is also the highest mountain in the reserve.

The forest area of the nature reserve is mainly in mountainous areas with steep slopes. The reserve has two large mountain ranges: Xa Linh and Luong Xa, which have created many large valleys, equal to hundreds of hectares, which are densely populated areas to develop agricultural production.
